Raised by District 5. Ready to Serve.

MEET ANDREA COOKE

District 5 raised Andrea Cooke. It shaped her values, her work ethic and her belief that when neighbors show up for each other, we all do better.

Andrea is a mother, mental health professional, nonprofit executive and longtime community advocate. For decades, she has worked side by side with families, small businesses and local leaders to solve real problems and deliver real results.

Now, she’s running for Macon-Bibb County Commission because District 5 deserves leadership that is accessible, accountable, prepared and people-centered.

Good government isn’t about proximity to power. It’s about responsibility to people.

Building a District Where Everyone Can Thrive.

ANDREA’S PRIORITIES FOR DISTRICT 5

Andrea understands that all people want to be heard, to feel safe, to have affordable housing and to have opportunity.

  • Andrea will push for responsible growth that expands housing options without leaving families behind or changing the fabric of District 5.

  • Supporting smart growth that creates good-paying jobs and helps local businesses thrive, so opportunity reaches every part of our community.

  • Connecting residents to training, certifications and career pathways that lead to stronger incomes and long-term stability.

  • Investing in community-centered strategies that prevent violence, support neighborhoods and strengthen trust and accountability.

  • Continue to expand access to mental health care and supportive services so families can get help when they need it, without barriers or stigma.

Independent. Focused. Accountable.

Andrea believes public service requires independence and integrity. That’s why she is stepping away from leadership roles in her professional work as she enters this race, so she can give this campaign and this community her full focus.

This campaign is about one thing: serving the people of District 5.

Vote March 17, and let’s build District 5’s next chapter together.
